The relegation race in V-League 2025/26 has become extremely tense as the gap between the bottom group is confined to just a few points. The resurgence of SHB Đà Nẵng under coach Lê Đức Tuấn is putting significant pressure on HAGL and a series of other teams, making the relegation battle highly unpredictable.
Just two rounds ago, many still believed SHB Đà Nẵng would struggle to climb up and catch up with the rest. But football always holds unexpected stories.

The last two matches yielding 4 points have helpedSHB Đà Nẵngreturn to the race. Ngọc Hải and his teammates drew with one of the championship contenders, Ninh Bình, away on March 7th evening, preceded by a crucial victory over PVF CAND in the "reverse final."

That series of results not only carries significance in points but also showcases the resilience of a team that has twice crowned the V-League.

On Ninh Bình's field, SHB Đà Nẵng even experienced a turbulent match. Within just the first half, coach Lê Đức Tuấn had to make continuous substitutions due to injuries, severely disrupting the lineup.
However, instead of collapsing, the Central region team persevered and found a valuable equalizing goal. That is a typical image of a never-give-up spirit.
It's not by chance that SHB Đà Nẵng is always mentioned as a team rich in tradition. Despite many ups and downs, from the glory of 2009-2012 at the legendary Chi Lăng stadium to recent difficult years, the Han River team has maintained a strong fighting spirit.
The presence of "homegrown" players like Văn Long, Anh Tuấn, or Phi Hoàng further strengthens the team's spirit. Players nurtured in the local football environment understand the value of the jersey they wear and are ready to fight until the last minute.
Additionally, Thanh Hóa's difficulties and SHB Đà Nẵng's quick recruitment of stars from this club like Ribamar, Ngọc Hải have upgraded the squad.
After round 15, SHB Đà Nẵng temporarily climbed to 13th position with 11 points, pushing PVF CAND to the bottom of the standings despite both teams having the same points. The gap with the upper group is also no longer too large. Coach Lê Đức Tuấn's team is only 2 points behind 12th-placed Thanh Hóa and 3 points behind 11th-placed HAGL. Notably, SHB Đà Nẵng still has one match unplayed compared to its rivals.
This means that with just one more positive result, coach Lê Đức Tuấn's team could completely rise in the relegation race. Even, SHB Đà Nẵng could drag more opponents into the vortex.
In reality, the bottom area is more crowded than ever. From 9th-placed Nam Định with 18 points to bottom-placed PVF CAND, the gap is only 7 points. Among these names are also Becamex TP.HCM, HAGL, Thanh Hóa, and SHB Đà Nẵng. None can feel safe.
In that context,HAGLis likely the team feeling the heat from behind most acutely. The loss at Pleiku stadium to Công an TP.HCM caused the Mountain Town team to miss the chance to widen the gap with the dangerous group.
After parting with General Director Vũ Tiến Thành, coach Lê Quang Trãi had to shoulder HAGL alone, enduring much pressure. Changes in tactics and psychology have prevented HAGL from achieving necessary stability.
Meanwhile, SHB Đà Nẵng is showing the opposite, thanks to persistent fighting spirit and strong belief in turning the tide. If they maintain current form, the Han River team could completely achieve a spectacular escape.
