Representatives from the Vietnamese Consulate General in Perth along with the overseas Vietnamese community visited, encouraged, and "boosted morale" for the Vietnam Women's National Team before their match against Japan in the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup Finals.
On the afternoon of March 8th, the atmosphere at the Vietnam Women's National Team's camp in Perth, Australia, became warmer when representatives from the Vietnamese Consulate General, along with a large number of overseas Vietnamese and Vietnamese supporters from Western Australia, visited and encouraged the entire team. The meeting coincided with International Women's Day on March 8th, providing a special spiritual boost for Coach Mai Duc Chung and his team ahead of the crucial match in the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup Finals.
The gathering took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The presence of the local Vietnamese community created a meaningful image for the female players competing far from their homeland. The greetings, encouragement, and enthusiastic cheers from the overseas Vietnamese community provided additional motivation for the entire team as they prepare for the upcoming match.
Speaking at the meeting, Vietnamese Consulate General in Perth Nguyen Thanh Ha expressed pride in the persistent fighting spirit and determination of the Vietnam Women's National Team over recent times.
